Gabbiano’s Pizza is the best pizza place in South Mission Beach and the general Mission Beach area. The restaurant is owned by a very nice vietnamese family who have been taking care of local residents for over 10 years. Located right across the street from The Beachcomber, this place can deliver hot food including pizza, pasta, sandwiches and salads to your place with their awesome delivery service. This is  one of Mission Beach residents favorites for great delivery service in Mission Beach and pizza.

Open from 11AM until 10PM Sunday thru Thursday and open until 11:PM on Fridays and Saturdays. Make sure you tip these people good, they work very hard for their money.

It is hard not to start off a Mission Beach restaurant blog without
having Saska’s in Mission Beach being the first article written.

Saska’s has been a family run restaurant in Mission Beach for over 50 years
and it is one of the most popular restaurants at the beach in San Diego.

Here are some reasons this place to eat is so popular with
the Mission Beach “locals”.

1. Great food and relaxing comfy atmosphere -
If you like big padded red booth and dim lighting you will love this
place not too mention the food portions are huge and everything
is fresh. Saska’s is known for having great steaks and seafood
along with oversized baked potatoes and the best hot garlic bread
that gets served to every table – YUM!!!!

2. Cool bar and late night food hours
Okay so know you know the food is amazing but add in the fact that
the kitchen is open til 1:ooAM and know you have a lot of people
coming in from a night out for a great late night dinner

3. Sushi Restaurant + an Outdoor Lunch Patio
If the steaks and seafood are not good enough then try something new
with the Saska Sushi Bar next to the main restaurant and haver saki
and sushi or a chicken sandwich for lunch on the rooftop patio obove.

Saska’s offers something for everyone although it may be a little thin on
vegetarian entree’s.  It would be nice to see them add some zest to the
menu and get something more than the 2 basic pasta dishes on there
for the vegetarians coming in with groups and solo.

Never fear however since the salads, oversized baked potatoes and fresh
hot garlic bread will fill anyone up and put a big smile on their face!
